My story

A little
about me.

I’m Tom. Product leader, founder, mentor and stand-up comedian. London is home; the work—and my curiosity—take me a little further.

Tom as a child at his first PC, with Windows 95 on the monitor and his hand on the mouse.
My first PC. Windows 95. A whole world to explore.

It started with
a crayon.

I chewed my first one in kindergarten. The design career came a little later.

After school, I started in graphic design, then moved into websites, front-end development and digital products. I liked making things—and understanding how they worked.

That curiosity has taken me from designing interfaces to leading teams, building ventures and helping founders turn ideas into products people can actually use. Along the way, I’ve worked with B2B startups, helped businesses prepare for funding and launch, and spent more than a decade in the Toptal network.

People & possibilities

A few things
I’ve picked up.

Working for yourself teaches you plenty. Some of it the expensive way.

I’ve spent years sharing those lessons with designers, freelancers, founders and teams. Through mentoring—including Techstars—and workshops, I help people find a clearer direction, communicate better and make decisions they can stand behind.

I’m based in London and work internationally. The best part is still meeting people who see the world a little differently.

Mentoring & coaching

And then there’s the microphone

A serious job.
A sense of humour.

I also do stand-up. Apparently, presenting work to clients wasn’t enough stage time.

Comedy has taught me to listen, read a room and get to the point. Those lessons follow me into conference talks, workshops and everyday conversations.
