Imagine all of us have been given a rope of a certain length, tied to the same tree as a starting point. As you get older and move through life, some people will reach the end of the rope and stagnate at that point for the rest of their life. It pained me when I would see some people I knew stuck at the "high school length".
I've tried *(too)*hard to help some people, but they wouldn't move; they just wouldn't budge. It took me a long while to realise - that's completely fine. Some are left behind, and some new are found along the way; that's fine too.
